Bamboo is eco-sustainable. Unlike a tree like pine which takes 15 years to grow and produce timber, after being cut bamboo takes 3-5 years to regrow and be harvested, regenerating spontaneously: its renewability makes it a truly eco-sustainable resource.
Bamboo releases much more oxygen (40%) and absorbs much more carbon dioxide (40%) than a wooden forest.
