Silk twill, hand hemmed. Made and packaged in Italy.
A timeless accessory, the scarf is a must-have that can be worn around the neck, as a belt, headband or turban.
CARDS SERIES Cups, swords, sticks and money. What do these words evoke in you? For us, the magic of long winter afternoons with grandparents. A deck of cards and endless challenges of broom or trump next to the hearth. Playing cards, the most popular entertainment in Italy, linked to folklore and tradition. From Bergamo, Bologna, Treviso or Neapolitan, the list is long: each area of the Bel Paese has its own. 40 rectangles, each with its own suit which can represent defeat or victory. We drew inspiration from here for our “Carte” scarf series. Each scarf is sold accompanied by a postcard describing the line and graphics and inside a white box.
PEACOCK It is a fan with a thousand shades and the peacock uses it to attract the attention of the chosen one. The peacock wheel is a bit of a symbol of narcissism in nature. The peacock has always been considered a sacred animal by many populations. In India, many deities were represented riding this splendid animal. In Athens you paid a ticket to see what were considered exotic realities. In the Islamic world, it symbolized the cosmos or the great celestial bodies of the sun and moon. By stylizing and reworking a detail of the ace of clubs, symbol of strength and action, of Neapolitan playing cards, our silk twill scarf The Peacock Wheel was born.
